twitter is marking links to twitter ↔ mastodon crossposter services as "potentially spammy or unsafe"

rumor is this may be more of a "twitter is falling apart" issue rather than an intentional quashing of mastodon links. evidently a lot of random, mundane links are being marked as "potentially unsafe"

@molly0xfff I've read similar stories. Small things are breaking, and teams that usually fix these are busy shipping features on tight deadlines.
