I use the CW to shorten the post to not blow up other peoples timelines.

@swtnrbutera There are three buttons under the text fields (on a desktop browser)
Pictures, privacy and CW
Clicking CW will give you another little text field on top, which always will be visible and after clicking "show all" it will show the rest.
