We stumbled upon a monument of a dog on our walk through wetland meadows and forests today. She must have been famous for something, but we don't know what.
Our puppies, #IdąPsięta, tested their teeth on that watering can. Now it got fixed – with a zip tie.
I can't id this #plant. A small dog the size of half a small dog for scale.
We have a new puppy, but it's a bit weird, so we'll probably sweep it under the rug and wait for another to appear.
Day one of this year's battle with Canadian goldenrod, Solidago canadensis (a bit late, I know). I decided not to use a brushcutter for a number of reasons. Cutting the plants would leave sharp stumps of stems in the ground. Not that I walk around barefoot, but our dogs, #IdąPsięta, do. Tearing the plants out by hand is easy in most areas, thanks to their shallow roots. It also gives me a chance to think and not remove the few other plants that goldenrod was suppressing. Even the nettles. Nettles are stingy, but nice.
The road was dry for a couple of days but now it's back to the way #IdąPsięta like it the most.
It's nice to cool off in the middle of the road during a long walk on sunny day.
#IdąPsięta are inspecting tree branches we stuck in the hole to warn anyone taking that road.
Living in the #wetlands of #Polesia (also spelled #Polesie) in #EasternPoland. Surrounded by #bogs and #forests, trying not to fuck up surrounding nature too much.
Taking care of a small pack of #dogs – #IdąPsięta.
Luddite working with hi-tech.
#RuralBroadband provider by accident. Starting a small LoRaWAN project to monitor our wetlands. Coding in #Python. Dealing with dirty data, cleaning them when time allows.
#Atheist. I don't *believe* in #science – science is the *only* thing that protects us from belief.
Fuck nazis.
My account on Twitter is still up, for good reasons. https://twitter.com/szescstopni
