It's nice to see wetlands getting a bit more attention in the news. If it isn't rewilding by introducing otters to control the crabs that were damaging saltmarsh in California, its a study that has identified that saltmarsh and mangroves act as an even better carbon sink than we had thought, and may have a role in reducing ocean acidification.

I may have orphaned 100s ... but then *they* ate their mother. She's gone. They are raising the massive pile of brood with ant like joy.
They are happy for now... but there are no more eggs... unless they start rouge laying. We shall see.
