@unknow @rox_lukas Pierwszy wpis wątku był zdecydowanie zbyt mało clikcbaitowy, wyglądał troichę jak zwykła reklama, i gdyby nie to, że podał to dalej ktoś, o kim wiem, że zazwyczaj poddaje dalej rzeczywiście cenne rzeczy, to bym nie zaglądnał. A było warto, dzięki za te insighty. Zastanawiam się, ile taka optymalizacja oszczędziła emisji CO₂ :)

Czytając jej CV zwróć uwagę na wyszkolenie, poprzednie doświadczenie zawodowe, opinię byłego pracodawcy, oraz jej hobby. I koniecznie sprawdź, czy nie figuruje w rejestrze skazanych.

I live in Rockridge, a neighborhood in Oakland. It has a history of being sundown neighborhood for a very long time (Black folks and Japanese were very very not welcome here in the early 20th century.)
Things changed prolly around the 60's/70s (I had a conversation with the pastor of a hidden Black baptist church right around the corner from me.) Black families moved in and for a while their presence was substantial in Rockridge.
But no more. It's now a lesser Piedmont. Very white, very affluent.
And when I'm out and about *I make SURE* everyone can see that I'm a neighbor. I make a *point* of signaling that I live here: from how/where I walk my dog, shopping locally, being seen by the regulars.
It's exhausting and necessary, navigating these majority White spaces. Because they can turn dangerous with a quickness.

@courtcan @mekkaokereke A couple years ago a Black family moved into the rowhome across the street from me. The dad would always greet me from across the street: "Hi, neighbor!" "Good afternoon, neighbor!" At first it was kind of offputting — I'm not super sociable and a friendly nod is about my speed — until one day I realized: He's not trying to be my friend, he's trying to make sure I and anyone listening recognize him as someone who belongs in this neighborhood so we don't call the cops. 🤦♂️
@mrundkvist That's the way to go. We recycle as much packaging as possible. When faced with a choice of two similar items to buy we chose the one with more reusable packaging.

We reuse plastic food containers. Saves us money, saves on plastics in the environment. It's great. I just filled up a jar with cold soup and leaned a little on the lid to get it tight, and it turns out this particular plastic jar had gone through the dishwasher a few times and had become brittle. Fucking jar collapsed and the soup EXPLODED all over me and the kitchen. But generally speaking, reusing plastic food containers is great. 👍
