Oh another D&D related rant. There's so many people out there 3D printing dice or mahjong molds from those prints that are beautiful or intricate, but they're not taking into consideration how these fucking things roll.

I am damn glad the husbando didn't live to see this because we'd have a room full of these things that didn't roll fairly just to look at. And yes, I know people buy them just to look at, but I'm in the They Should Also Be Functional camp.

Another fine example of courthouse security treating me differently than white attorneys:

About 6 years ago I appeared for court. I had my files and calendar on my iPad. Courthouse security refused to let me in with it, although I saw several white attorneys enter with their devices. Security supposedly worried that gang members would record witnesses testimony.

I had to call the chief judge's office, who took my call after a 10 minute wait and then ordered security to let me in.
