Bo mnie aż żołądek boli, jakie to jest przehajpowane narzędzie i jak od dupy strony się podchodzi do dyskusji o nim, i już zaczynałam się podejrzewać, że to znowu moja starcza niechęć do postępu jest problemem. 🙃

- Chrome’s rendering engine is a fork of Safari’s rendering engine
- You don’t need to load web fonts from a service-use one of the many free converters to create a woff2 from any ttf or otf file

Doszły mnie słuchy, że ktoś się ponoć na #Polska fedi obraża o blokady/wyciszenia.

Koffani, nie ma o co się obrażać! To dbanie o swoje zdrowie psychiczne i przyjemność korzystania z fedi.

Ja regularnie wyciszam (zwykle tymczasowo), a i czasem blokuję (zwykle na stałe), konta, które zwyczajnie nie wpływają pozytywnie na moje doświadczenie fedi.

A jednym z pewniejszych sposobów na to, bym wyciszenie zamienił na ba(na)na, jest obrażanie się o wyciszenie.

Gdy rozkręcaliśmy ICD, celem od samego początku było świecenie przykładem i pokazywanie, że "da się", a nie zwiększanie zasięgów. Myślę, że jesteśmy całkiem niezłym przykładem, że właśnie da się znaleźć odbiorców bez przekopywania się przez dane analityczne. Gdy ludziom się coś podoba, mówią nam to. Tak samo, gdy im się nie podoba. Nie musimy zgadywać tego na podstawie danych.

Teaching about dams & #dam removal this week. Normally I wouldn't say a picture of #water spilling over a dam face should count as a #waterfall, but this very old mill dam at Water-cum-Jolly on the River Wye in #England's Peak District is certainly picturesque & part of the cultural heritage of the area now. But I could clearly see the geomorphic effects (#reservoir #sedimentation & downstream #erosion) that ~200 years of that dam has wrought. #WaterfallWednesday #RiverWye #UK
