I'm not sure if I ever said this, so let me get this clear for the record.

Dutch from Belgium is sometimes called Flemish, a name I don't like, and technically it's not correct either. A city can be Flemish, or a governmental body, etc, but the language is officially called Dutch. I won't sue anyone for calling it Flemish though, I just don't like it. If it's necessary to point out linguistical differences with the Netherlands you can say Belgian Dutch vs Dutch Dutch.

Dutch is one language. This I will denounce you for. (You can call the Belgian version Flemish but you can't say it's a different language, as that is false.)

The differences between the two countries are like British and American English: pronunciation, expressions, certain words, certain preferences. And also, the fact that both of those aren't monolithic, and can be divided into various distinct dialects themselves.

Ostatnio, w Urzędzie Miasta Łodzi, na 84. sesji obrad Rady Miejskiej, przeprowadziliśmy bezprzemocową akcję nieposłuszeństwa obywatelskiego przeciwko wycince lasu na Lublinku.
Pod budowę hal przemysłowych wycinana jest jedna z najważniejszych przestrzeni przyrodniczych i rekreacyjnych w Łodzi, a głosy komitetów broniących lasów trafiają w próżnię.
Jako aktywiści lokalnej grupy proklimatycznego ruchu #ExtinctionRebellionPolska i jako obywatele Łodzi, nie dajemy na to zgody.

But that's not really true. It's just that the garbage is _drowning out_ everything else, especially in search engines that themselves have decided to go into the garbage generation business.

What can we do? We can promote the #IndieWeb right here. Highlight the good, perhaps obscure websites and blogs you come across, especially the ones that aren't loaded with ads & trackers.

I learned a new, super-gross slur this morning! A weird compound that manages to target queers *and* Black people at the same time.
