Caught myself at the last moment – wanted to give someone advice, but there was no direct question in their toot, so I just gave it a star and stayed silent. They'll find their way.

One of the challenges of social media -- and this stretches all the way back before the term was even coined and applies to email as well, is to remember that you are communicating with actual human beings with their own lives, loves, worries, and so much more. Except when there's a damned AI robot at the other end.

Why does google do this? If it's blocked in robots.txt it means don't bloody index it!!!!
