One of the thing I am gonna miss from twitter is both, official account of Polish Police and private account of their spokesperson. I am fully aware of opinion of many of you about police people in general and I must admin, Polish police forces are not better than others (and in some aspects even worse), however, if what they deliver sometimes is a quality cringe content.

Look at this. Somehow the commander of Polish Police got Ukrainian grenade launcher. They say he got it as a gift from Ukrainian soldiers. He brought it through the border without proper paperwork, henceforth, illegally and broke the law. But that's only the beginning of the story.

Yesterday someone (allegedly the commander himself) shoot the fucking grenade launcher in HQ of Polish Police, damaging ceiling/floor in the building. There were some lightly wounded people as well.

But wait for it.

Polish government allegedly demands explanation from Ukrainian government.

Also, Minister of Domestic Affairs (overlooking the Polish Police) said that commander didn't knew what that device was.

The police commander is still on duty. He has not been suspended neither removed from his post.

That might be part of my shitty coping mechanisms, but I will miss such quality shitshow when I finally remove my twitter account.

Heading home from Old Faithful this afternoon we encountered a group of bison braving the 150F water while crossing the runoff of Excelsior Geyser. The cold air causes heavy steam to rise and surround the bison.

Lots of anti-bird posting on my TL today. Need I remind you that

• RAVENS will take pieces of bark and literally WIND-SURF on thermal updrafts in the mountains
• HONEYGUIDES are so named because they will guide humans to beehives containing DELICIOUS HONEY
• GREATER BLACK-BACKED GULLS can swallow a WHOLE RABBIT without chewing

All this (and more) just goes to show that birds are

• cool as hell
• helpful and friendly
• but most importantly, if YOU choose to mess with them, they CAN and WILL fuck you up

So please think twice before you disrespect birds on this federated verse! 🙏
