I always thought the thing about The Beatles that two of the most talented and influential pop composers (plus another really good one) just happened to be friends from Liverpool.

Like finding out Einstein and Marie Curie were college roommates.

But maybe the lesson of the Beatles is there's genius all around us, it just needs a chance to thrive.

A bridge in a #forest near #Poniec is falling apart. The road leading to it has been blocked by "no entry" (for vehicles) sign. Furthermore, it's on a forest road where cars aren't allowed to drive in the first place.

Nevertheless, cars are still driving through the bridge and around the chain blocking the entrance. They are going to continue until the bridge falls apart. Then they'll just *shrug*.

Having to take a detour will impact pedestrians much more.

Tatyana Korchinska from #Ukraine posted an unusual photo of 12 liter jars filled with dried bread pieces by her grandmother. She kept them on the house's loft for decades, and they're still there after she died 35 years ago, pretty well preserved. Why conserve bread? The grandmother survived #Holodomor, a massive state-induced #famine that decimated population of Ukraine in 1930's.
