Like, as far as I can tell, the issue isn't that young girls aren't interested in STEM and need a 20 minute ad for the concept of technology, the problem is that they quickly run into an entrenched boys club in those fields that make them feel unsafe, condescended to and generally puts them off the whole thing.

We've been living off this little #solarpower pack for 2 years now. It's made me a fan of #lowtech #tinker goodies and making do with what's available, rethinking what basic necessities we even need and what we can use in lieu of typical appliances.

Now I’m wondering: was it only a jolt now, this first time? Soon, will I not even notice, because it will be standard to see this, because disaster-prepped climate news stories will just be normal?

This is a part of the line of remembrance, where the Berlin Wall ran, in the middle of the city. It was 3.40m high and flanked by numerous other protective structures. As a child I was used to the Wall, and since 1990 it slowly disappeared, piece by piece. And yet - sometimes I am simply flabbergasted that today I can stand here with one foot on each side, just like that. Still an incredible feeling of happiness.

- biegiem wyciągnąć elektryczną pompę ze studni i zamontować w gospodarczym
- próbować odgadnąć, dlaczego Ethernet przestał działać na piętrze (i szybko, bo mama za chwilę zaczyna pracę)
- odkryć, że tester przewodów sieciowych przestał działać
- przełączyć na wifi (normalnie nie używane, bo bywało niestabilne)
- w końcu zjeść śniadanie
- znaleźć różne kawałki rur, żeby przedłużyć wąż i wypompowywać wodę trochę dalej od gospodarczego
- poradzić sobie z niskim cukrem
- wymieść resztę wody z niższych punktów posadzki do dziury z pompą
- wrócić do testowania gniazdka
- odkryć, że elektryk zwajchował jedną ze śrubek i namęczyć się, by ją wyciągnąć
- zobaczyć bajzel w środku
- odkryć, że więcej wody napłynęło do gospodarczego
- zacząć próbować naprawić tester przewodów
