The closet is a hard place to be, and outing anyone can be very harmful. We need a society where it’s okay to be who you want to be so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else. Is that so hard to imagine?

Mukbang ("eat-show") is a Korean entertainment format where, originally, a fully clad attractive woman had a solid meal on camera, possibly while adding running commentary. I just realised that since my wife moved in with me a bit less than 24 years ago, I have lived in an almost constant state of #mukbang. I have most of my meals while watching an attractive East Asian woman eat and provide running commentary.

Popped out to the garden when I read someone's toot about the Northern Lights being visible in Northern Britain. Couldn't see them with naked eye, but long exposure, taken over town, above the hills in the north, showed the green glow...then a plane flew across the Big Dipper 😊

It's alive! This PC is working just fine in spite of its age, the fact that it was unceremoniously dumped and the (small) damage to the motherboard caused by the battery.

More impermanent art on fallen leaves. Here, a sycamore. It’s a bit like writing a letter then burning it. There’s something very healing in drawing on a leaf, with certain intentions and feelings in mind, and then letting it go. Under the tree that it fell from, then into the river that keeps it alive. A very meaningful little ritual I can’t recommend enough. 💚
