There were a few twists I didn't see coming, like the unveiling of Reva's origins, and her internal battle with her own dark side. I didn't dig the portrayals of Obi-Wan or Annakin in the prequels (truth be told I didn't dig much about those films). But the way Ewan McGregors's embodies Obi-Wan's journey out of dispair is masterful, and Hayden Christensen's performance as a younger Vader was a triumph of ruthless brutality. It was great to hear James Earl Jones back as Vader's voice too.
