Is anyone here in the #TransitionNetwork / #TransitionTowns / #farming / #permaculture / #rewilding?
My grandparents were farmers, I grew up on a 2 1/2 smallholding and we were almost completely self-sufficient for all food for most of my childhood. Now I 'only' have an allotment, that's a mature little food forest.

Wasn't it Chesterton who divided the land area of Britain by its population and wondered why each person doesn't have 3 acres of land 🙂
