Any suggestion for a decent #selfhosted alternative to Google Keep?
Was considering #StandardNotes but it doesn't look like there's an admin interface (or even config options) for basic features. At the very least I'd like to be able to disable users' registration.
@maddler I see a lot of posts on (self-) hosted note-taking. Are people really able to do the same things on smartphones and tablets/laptops, and hence need sync? Or are the other devices just for backing up data? Can't one get away with #SyncThing for everything ?
@tetrislife I use the app to share quick notes, texts, commands and sometimes images across devices. That's why I need something simple enough. Standard Notes or Joplin seem to be the best candidates. Standard Notes doesn't support file uploads in the self hosted instance. Will give Joplin another go later.
