I just hate Stallman bootlickers soooo much.
You know the type - whenever there's a thing criticizing the FSF for keeping him, they'll come out of the wood work and proclaim how he's the last bastion of free software and without him the movement ™️ would crumble.
My sibling in Satan, if your movement can't live without a 70 year old who made up his mind 40 years ago when he couldn't get that printer installed it's already irrelevant and soon dead.

@ocdtrekkie
If it is not asking too much, would you define what harm FSF is doing, and what gatekeeping it is doing?
OSI, meant to milk volunteers for corporate use, has done its job well, if not the job volunteers might have liked it to do.

@tetrislife @faho And that's pretty much entirely driven by Stallman and his behavior, which courses throughout the FSF's website. Then just add how off-putting RMS and his behavior is to anyone who isn't a cis white male.

@tetrislife @faho Well, you pegged my problem with the OSI well!
The FSF is almost the polar opposite: If you aren't running 100% free software, you will get called out and shamed for it. Everything that isn't GPL licensed is some flavor of evil. And it really scares off bringing people into FOSS. Nobody quits proprietary cold turkey, as I type this from my Windows machine.
