I want to design a house - or more accurately - make mockups of a house/buildings.

Is there any kind of software that you guys recommend for this?
Preferably free software, that does not require to much skill to use.

@selea I use Blender for all of my wood/construction projects. There was serious learning curve, but it was worth it. Here is the design for a dog crate/kitchen island I recently did.
