I read the lead Washington Post & NY Time stories on Trump getting booted off the ballot in Colorado. NYT quoted the full Trump campaign response, including their repeat-the-lie-til-it-becomes-true ad slogans about Biden, democracy, and Trump. The Post cut all that ad copy from the statement and added context to help readers understand if the court is really partisan or not.

I think I've seen reporting that the nytimes is under new leadership with the insane goal of recouping more of the readership lost to the far right, or am I mixing this up with CNN trying to get back fox news viewers?
