The past two tech downturns were reversed by the creation of new platforms. The internet for the dotcom crash and the iPhone post-housing crisis.
There’s currently none on the horizon post-COVID at that scale. It wasn’t crypto and AI isn’t on track to create ecosystems like web & mobile apps.
Clean energy. Crypto and AI are scams. Energy technology is the real deal.
