How is the traveling to infect your family and strangers for Christmas going?
Hundreds of these people will die, painfully.
Many pregnancies will end prematurely with babies born dead.
Tens of thousands of these people will have likely life-long disabilities because the virus destroys brain cells (among other things).
The infected will infected many others and cause more suffering and pain.
And that’s just one day in one country.
Please stay home.

@thomasfuchs Don't forget that while you're vaccinated, the symptoms and other adverse results from the infections are severely reduced. Yeah, there's still a risk, but it isn't all doom and gloom like you paint here, though. Iirc France has a fair amount of people vaccinated.
@trinsec You can still fully infect and murder other people—especially those with weaker immune systems.
The vaccinations aren't are miracle cure, it just makes it more likely to not be as affected.
And no one knows the long-term effects of COVID.
Be on the side of caution with new aggressive diseases that are poorly understood.
So yes, it's actually pretty doomy and gloomy.
