Chatting with an American buddy of mine about his place (Flagstaff) and the Grand Canyon and all that. And I _still_ can't wrap my head around the elevation he lives at.

I mean, even their 'lowest points' are still at a considerably higher elevation than my whole damn country. :D

To compare, we have one oversized hill of about 400 meter high. And _that_ is what we call a mountain!

Phoenix (about 2 hours south of him) is sea level. So biking from Flagstaff to Phoenix is a nice cruise without too much effort. The other way however.. ehhhh. :D
