But almost everybody understood how to use it as soon as they knew some shortcuts...
While I keep getting asked 'How do I ...' from people using Microsoft Word. :P

A gentle reminder to folks who are new to Mastodon. In solidarity with those in the disabled community who rely on screen readers, we ask that you:
* Add alt text/image descriptions when you post media
* Capitalize the first letter of every word in a hashtag #LikeThis

Go to your settings > Preferences > Other
Scroll down and you'll see an option which languages you'd rather want to see instead.

I've decided to follow anyone who looks interesting even if they don't match my interests. After a month or two I can trim that list. It is easy to do on qoto.org since the follow button can be displayed under the icon.
