@tripu Actually misleading. It represents things linearly when this should be a tree: Neither Australopithecus nor the Neandertal man are our ancestors, they are our cousins.
As for Choanoflagellates, these are a group of living organisms that is sister to animals. Agnatha is the sister group of jawed vertebrates. What is meant is that the morphology of our ancestor was similar, but I find it misleading.
