Dusting off and browsing some readings, assignments and my class notes of twenty years ago (or more) from #college, and I feel amazed, nostalgic, overwhelmed, fascinated and stupid in equal measure. No doubt I was way more intelligent back then, around the turn of the millennium! What have I done?
Information theory, signal processing, computer architecture, voice synthesis, video compression… I knew all that stuff.
