I think the idea that communists and fascists are opposites or that the soviets generally or specific soviet soldiers are good for killing nazis is a very successful piece of soviet/communist propaganda. I can just as reasonably say that the nazi soldiers were heros for killing soviets. Both are bs. They're all totalitarians and not actually that different from each other
@valleyforge Fascism is a direct repsonse to communism, which is the sense in which they're opposite.

@valleyforge Certainly not in the same sense. Fasicsm was a direct response to communism in the sense that the question at hand was whether communism, or possibly even communits ought to be suffered to exist. Bolshevics were a response to menshevics in the sense that they disagreed on particular issues involved in the implementation of communism.
