No one in this government has the fucking courage to stop this shit.
Dems especially to blame sitting by while in recess and not pounding this into their district residents heads.
It's the other way around.
Residents elected these ineffective Dems, and they should probably stop reelecting them.
Residents need to be pounding the Dems for failing... unless, well, they're getting what they voted for.
It's not about courage but about incentives. These Dems get reelected based on acting this way, so voters are rewarding them for it. That's their job, so they do it.
