@werner58 well.. I'm not really a physicist. In fact my physics study tried to foist PASCAL on me! Luckily I wasn't paying attention.

@bert_hubert I can't follow you on that: I did Pascal in high school - now I know all the issues and it was already ancient by then, but Borland TP7 will always be an object of nostalgia for me.
(I don't think I ever saw a more noob-friendly programming environment before the Arduino IDE)
