So, I keep hearing "web3 this, #web3 I'm that" and thought it was something open source, consortium approved like HTML5 and CSS3 and the ECMA specs. But as I read, it appears it's a proprietary block chain crypto-currency blah and I'm bitter about falling for their marketing.
