I deny this. I don't know what they are talking about
I think I may need to start putting more time into learning the interop ecosystems: Maven, Apache on the #Clojure JVM, and React stuff, NPM on #ClojureScript. Then, soon, Python, too #clj-python. Probably an hour of reading each day.

Facebook is a rotten company, rotten from the top down, its founder, board and execs are sociopaths and monsters, committers of non-hyperbolic crimes against humanity. They lie, they cheat, they steal. They are some of history's greatest villains.
Because Facebook is a terrible company run by terrible people, it periodically erupts in ghastly scandal. Sometimes whistleblowers or reporters reveal historic crimes, including (but not limited to) deliberately helping to foment genocide.

#Clojure is very often used to create wrappers around other libs. This is a testament to its excellent syntax and development environment that this is deemed worthwhile. But it also produces the curious effect that I've experienced many times: you inquire of the library steward, "How does this work?" or "how can I do XYZ?" and they respond, "I'm not sure..."
