ID systems can put trans people at risk, especially when there is no way (or poor ways) to correct them. Great piece in @CodaStory on how the Jamaican trans community is challenging the new digital ID system.

Hopefully they can build a system that works for everyone, a system should not need to be challenged, it should be developed by consulting with people surely.
Then the system should have provision in place to review every few years to make sure that law is still fit for purpose.
