@newsbot This seems more plausible then what some of the media here in the UK are saying. Something about a hypersonic weapon being tested.

@zleap @newsbot US too. Psaki fumbled it as "competition from China [..] hope it doesn't turn in to conflict."

@icedquinn @newsbot

I don't think China wants conflict either the danger comes from a mis calculation leading to something starting by accident.

Taiwan is a different topic of course.

@zleap @newsbot china most definitely wants to conquer taiwan and would like very much if the west continues suiciding instead of protecting its allies

@icedquinn @newsbot Yeah, the west is rather dysfunctional, where as china is one huge nation of over a billion people.

Best not to mess with them and bring issues to the negotiating table.

@zleap @newsbot i think russia is trying to appease them but they're not happy about it; not sure how that's been going.

they were checked under trump but the USA is asleep at the wheel under brandon.

Joe Biden, yeah, he seems far less confrontational than Trump (which is a good thing in one sense), but in many ways, as you said too far the other way.

The west really can't find decent leadership.

What is frustraing in a way is that the Kimjon un (Nkorea leader) wants to try and reach out and talk to the west, we should engage with him, like trump did, far better than risking all out war due to us not talking.

After the Afghanistan pull out I doubt many countries will ever trust the west, to see something through properly.
