NEW - Puzzling heart disease in soccer: "An unusually large number of professional and amateur soccer players have collapsed recently" (Berliner Zeitung)

@disclosetv Could be a number of things, what is the air quality like where they live / play?

@zleap sure, though you have to admit that it's rather uncommon for young men to just collapse with heart issues _not_ previously diagnosed.
may be the virus, may be the vaccination, may be something completely different. the point is that it's not thoroughly discussed.
i don't know if you speak german, but that article is really trying hard to steer everything away from the vaccine, even if we know by now that it creates heart problems in men.

I agree. The medical establishment won't dig into these heart attacks / mysterious deaths and the media won't go counter narrative so we have no way to know now many of these are just cherry picked anecdotes, vs. vax side effects vs. a mystery covid symptom vs. some whole other thing we're missing in the covid hullabaloo. Thing is, if it was covid related, I think they'd be fear mongering it like crazy, so I'm leaning away from that one.

@CaptLuke

Assuming the data they suggested in the article that about 0.7-3% of 100,000 have heart related issues due to exercise, then it seems quite likely that the data has been cherry picked.

Though as mentioned, the article is definitely avoiding the vaccine topic. There is currently strong evidence that there is a higher chance for men under 30 to get heart issues who have been vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. A hypothesis is that increased stress could trigger this fault, which would coincide with professional athletes.

Air quality was mentioned, which is also a factor that could also cause the stress factor in the hypothesis. One would have to draw out a map and see if there is a correlation or if it just speculative.

The factor that I am missing is the dietary one. It was only mentioned in the article for individuals who had a heart problem on the upper range. It is well known that a good exercise routine won't counter a bad diet.

The study that I am hoping to see in the future is if there is a correlation between your DNA, the vaccine you took (if any), and your gut flora, in regards to expected adverse effects. Like if they could say if you are a male below 30 with at least 20% Scandinavian decent eating at least 5kg of meat per week, your chance of having a heart related issue is 30%. Whereas someone from a Mediterranean decent would have a higher chance.

@barefootstache @CaptLuke @bonifartius @disclosetv @MarshTackyBall

There is a move to create treatments based on DNA so what you are suggesting sounds like an interesting area of research.

@zleap @barefootstache @CaptLuke @bonifartius @disclosetv @marshtackyball there are some fringers looking in to clotting issues related to the spike proteins. but there is a very massively funded campaign against being allowed to criticize any coronavirus vaccine pushers or politicians, so you are correct in that we are not likely to know for sure.
@zleap @CaptLuke @barefootstache @bonifartius @disclosetv @marshtackyball there was a thing i saw where the australian navy reported going from 300 cases of heart issues in 30 years to 1,000 cases in one year, happening exactly the year that pfizer's product launched and not before, handwaving as "we have no idea why this happened its so crazy :blobcatgoogly:"

which seems to be how its going.

scandinavia seems to be willing to finger moderna but everyone else is just handwaving.

It seems for the vast majority of people the vaccine is safe and there ar e few side effects. From a science viewpoint we need to be open minded and i investigate any side effects so we can learn and adjust things accordingly.

Find out the true links between Covid , vaccines and any side effects.

@zleap they won't. most doctors have effectively zero training in vaccine tech other than how to jab the needle, most won't even file reports if patients complain.

it was already known pre-covid that our registries contain less than 10% of adverse reaction reports. i think it's as low as 1% in the harvard lazarus report.

now with covid out people are being censored and handwaved for citing the very same databases (ex. a paper was pulled because according to scandinavian equivalent of VAERS, 2 people died for every 3 saved using the same standards of declaring a covid death [28 days from injection instead of within 28 days of a PCR test, https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/retraction-paper-vaccine-deaths-spurs-demand-more-scrutiny-reported])

there has been immense resistance to admit that adverse reactions happen, to the point they had to drag the medical boards kicking and screaming in Norway as they tried to find literally any excuse to blame something else and too many doctors had ruled out all the alternative excuses to avoid having myocarditis officially declared a risk.

@CaptLuke @barefootstache @bonifartius @marshtackyball @disclosetv
@zleap basically the safe and effective meme is actively harmful because its been demonstrated to cause people to not even consider looking there, even though nothing else changed from 2020 to 2021, so people are being confused as it "obviously" couldn't be the only variable that's changed.

it might not be but people's lack of willingness to investigate should be telling.

I agree we need better reporting and more access to papers rather than reading some interpretation from a journalist.

Science works well when questions are asked and any anomalies investigated
