It does appear to be developing a two-tier society, those who have a #corruptDoctor and those who don't.
We are more interested in basic quarantine for #airTravellers, maybe #fastRail if they have travelled more than 2000km.

All we can comment on is our experience in Australia, really. And here there are States the size of entire groups of European countries that have been able to prevent the spread and it has been by fairly draconian measures initially, but they've been allowing things like home quarantine and it does seem to be working.
Cities that are more highly populated are struggling more though, yes.
The Omicron, nu, mu, fuck-you variant has confirmed vaccine inmunity and reinfection after contracted
None of the boosters did anything and mixed vaccines are useless^2

@SleebyElf @dsfgs @icedquinn @zleap Vaccines were far from being useless. There is not only Omicron around and it's too early to draw conclusions on Omicron yet. There are worrisome incidents but no results yet. So please get your booster - the thing is not over yet.
If we need additional vaccines for new variants, this is just because there were too few people getting their immunity early enough to get rid of the pandemic. Stopping with the vaccine would be the most stupid thing to do.
J&J and AZ were pulled from places IIRC because all of the spike based payloads seem to cause harm. PF/Moderna cause a shitload of harm (5 heart attacks for every corona death saved) but pfizer has a lot of friends.
Moderna has been getting restricted in some places for this too

That retired nurse seems to have a good head on him. It sounds like he is working hard to communicate the latest information without sugar coating or soapboxing and he appears to disclose which studies have been peer-reviewed and which ones have yet to be.

The problem it seems people (or some) would rather listen to some self proclaimed 'expert' on social media channels like youtube or instagram who also call them selves an influencer than a qualified professional who knows what they are talking about.

That can be a problem, but someone has offered a link to a channel of a gentleman who states his sources, too, we should also say.
We don't believe there's any reason to be particularly afraid of taking a look at the retired nurse's channel, rather than spending time talking about taking a look in this instance.

I would rather find different viewpoints from different people who have expertise in their field. Peer review process is there for a reason, and why this process should be robust.
Having studied science you read different arguments and form conclusion from that evidence.
Then form conclusions.

Reducing the travel has very much helped in Australia. When borders are tight (including interstate) places had no community transmission. That is a fact here, and despite some people taking the medications over past months.

They should investigate how France / UK / EU have handled migration, allowed people smuggling to run out of control and how this causes more misery for the victims of it.
While they play political ping pong for point scoring people are dying or have died.
@zleap Then you've got a medical document that proves this. I'd guess 99% of the unvaccinated people don't have objective medical reasons for their decision which is causing negative effects for the whole population, especially the ones that truly have a medical reason for not getting the vaccine.
