Is anyone thinking about how to handle write permissions for Fedi accounts.

For example, imagine you have an account and you want someone else to be able to contribute.

We came up with a solution today.

Sounds interesting, I am sure Friendica had some feature where another person could act as an 'overseer' very useful for a parent or other entity to keep an eye on an account held by another (e,g child).

I guess another use could be a company manager could have another person handling social media on Fedi, but could help oversee that, answer questions or resolve issues.

Bingo yes. We think it would be very useful for small grassroots things too. When one gets a new job, or a child, or just gets burnout and can't devote time to a movement, it would help to be able to pass the baton for a while.

This is all client-side, so no changes need be made to the server. Someone installs a script that chacks for things and passes them on to the other(s), and when they receive registered DMs, they get automatically converted back to toots.
