When I first think about it it's kinda weird that the more tech savvy a person is, the more they advocate against using technology. Same applies backwards, the less tech savvy a person is, the more they advocate for using technology.

I think the more you learn about tech the more you realise how complex it is, esp when it comes to security, daily warnings on problems must have an affect on people.
Where as if you are used to writing n ink, the idea of word processing or typesetting is a world where you can edit and re-edit easily.
Then you start using non open standards and it causes a lot of problems and you feel it is easier to go backto pen / ink.
