I am sure we can aim a ground based telescope at the JWST and take a photo.
@zleap it's in a sun-earth L2, isn't it? facing out. i think we would only see the tarp
@piggo yeah good point, the sun shield is in the way, I am sure at some point we can figure a way to take a photo.
