Any update on your recent post about the Anti LGBT+ bills going through the Florida house. ?

Rep. Harris has been trying to file amendments to allow parents to instruct the schools on their kid's pronouns, but Republicans shot them down, showing that this has absolutely nothing to do with parental rights.

So there are parallel bills going through the Florida house and Senate. (Pretty common.) They are both in each chamber's Education committee where they will almost surely pass pretty quickly. Some verbage was added to the house bill recently to strengthen the anti-pronoun piece and have it apply to pre-k and some private and all charter schools.
