ESA’s Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) will have another Go at launch from Kourou, French Guiana today at 8:14 a.m. EDT (12:15 UTC).
Radar shows storm clouds over Kourou for the next couple of hours, we will see if they affect the launch.
So far, the countdown is proceeding normally.

While we await the launch, let's take a look at JANUS, the camera onboard the JUICE spacecraft and compare it with similar cameras on Juno and Galileo.
JANUS = Jovis, Amorum ac Natorum Undique Scrutator, Latin for "comprehensive observation of Jupiter, his love affairs and descendants." 😀
JANUS is certainly more capable than JunoCam in terms of detector size, aperture size and resolution; it is comparable to the imager on Galileo. See table below.

8 years is a long time to wait for lots of science but all being well it will be more than worth the wait.
