Good point there, in the UK we tried to send migrants to Rwanda and got stopped by the ECHR, and yet the same court seems to allow Hungary to do what it wants, but we have seen a far right increase in Italy, France too.
Seems people are simply in denial.

Thanks for this, Will check out he pie chart on my main computer later (bigger screen). It is interesting and you're right the press here barely report on this unless it is a ruling against the UK.
@zleap @kaffando @mercedesallen no problem at all. Here's are some relevant source links in case I have overlooked some crucial aspect.

Article 6 (right to a fair hearing), interesting that in the UK it has taken so long for some rape cases to come to court and trial the victims have given up. So not sure how long the court consider acceptable but the UK could potentially be taken to court over this alone.
@zleap @kaffando @mercedesallen alas, it often comes down to the funding.
If rape victims were backed by pharma companies, there would be a hell of a lot more legal challenges.
@zleap @kaffando @mercedesallen Hungary does a hell of a lot loss at the ECHR than the UK.
In 2021, the rate of finding against Hungary was 94% (the UK's rate is 58%). Admittedly, in the UK, this is hidden because the UK press massively focuses on rulings against the UK.
