I'm not sure if they exist elsewhere - but the Mid-West has this little restaurant chain called, "Village Inn".

It's an older establishment I think. They've been around forever.

On certain nights, you get free pie with your order. Even if you order a cup of coffee, they give you a slice of pie.

The pie that is offered is only from a small selection of their available pies - but they are decently prepared.

I think more places should practice this kind of habit. Imagine how much nicer life would be if it included a slice of pie?
