"[Trump's indictment is] a devastating indictment of the American electorate. Far too many voters were willing to elect such a person to the highest office in the land despite reams of evidence that he is an unscrupulous businessman, a sexual predator, and an unrepentant narcissist who warmly embraces authoritarianism."

@wdlindsy

Well to trumps credit, he knew how to use social media better, which apparently played a BIG part in his win, promote his anti immigration, bulld a wall to areas where there is high number of immigrants, crime (and little actual evidence of a connection I may add) so people are manipulated in to thinking the two are connected, vote for trump, get a wall to fix the problem.

This is partly how I understand how social media was used, e.g FACEBOOK for one.

@zleap "Knew how to" are words I wouldn't attribute to Trump, unless one's speaking of a kind of sly, calculating cunning that's far removed from reason and intelligence. He had some adroit and outright evil helpers in exploiting social media and its susceptibility to spread disinformation in the 2016 campaign. But I don't think he engineered or designed that campaign.
