From 10 Jun: Transformers Con in Florida Warns Attendees of Anti-Trans State Restrictions - If you’ve been following the news about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ reign of terror in the realm... https://www.themarysue.com/transformers-con-in-florida-warns-attendees-of-anti-trans-state-restrictions/ #anti-trans-bill #bathroom-bill #drag #florida #ron-desantis #transformers #transformers-convention #transgender

I am assuming that Transformers con has something to do with the Trans community, as opposed tothe robots Transformers and change in to cars, and other vehicles. If these anti-trans people think a convention about robots in disguise is about Trans people it would be extremely stupid really then again it would exactly be surprising.

@zleap More like it's a transformers (toys) convention that has warned it's attendees about Florida's new laws and (briefly, understandably) misunderstood one of the several new bigoted anti-LGBTQIA+ laws there.

@StevenSaus
So basically the Anti trans lobby can't tell the difference between toys and Transgender.
This would not surprise me that the bigots would turn up and harass people. So in that context it would make sense to warn people.
Enjoy the convention
