What seems like a more dangerous precedent to set?

—Prosecuting a former president

—Letting a former president avoid accountability for allegedly stealing classified documents and then conspiring to obstruct the government's efforts to retrieve them

During his presidnecy Trump visited both N Korea and Russia, and spoke to the leaders of those to countries, then the pandemic, hit, post pandemic, he lost the election, then Russia invaded Ukraine, I get the impression that if Trump does win in 2024, his early task will be to withdraw US support for Ukraine. I get the impression generally that had he won in 2020, this support would not be there in the first place.

Trump weakened NATO, stole classified documents, and it makes you wonder what would have happened had he won, a quick visit to Moscow with those documents and the US would have been totally scrweed in terms of defense.

It seems Trump is more desperate to get back to the whitehouse, more than a lot of people are, which makes you wonder what is long term agenda is, his modus operandi is clearly not suggesting he has loyality to the US, some of the laws on Trans / gay people in the US, are not too far away from what Putin has done. The only conspiracy here is the conspiracy of the GOP and what they want to do.

Nord stream gets blown up, a dam, and this puts a nuclear power station at risk, nukes get put in Belarus, right on the border with Uraine, and the west is powerless to act without the risk of escalating to a wider conflict. Meanwhile N Korea continues to develop more nukes and china poses a thrat to Taiwan, and the wider world in other ways.

The latter is happening while the US is distracted with Trump in court, makes you wonder if this is all part of the plan, to distract the US government long enough for someone to do something very sinister.

We have very weak cyber security in the west, or it seems like that, and it seems from another post the US relies on Russia for uranium enrichment.

Just what is going on here. ?
