DeSantis allies set up a school to train a $100 million door-knocking army

Hundreds of students have flown to Iowa from across the country this summer as part of the $100 million DeSantis donor bet on the art of knocking.

Always be polite, the trainees are told by Joe Williams, who runs the sessions for Never Back Down, a super PAC supporting the governor. Body language matters. Passion counts. Never accept water or go inside. Mention DeSantis’s wife, Casey, her cancer diagnosis and his military service

@cdarwin Do they provide bullet proof vests as part of the safety kit for door knocking. ?

@cdarwin

Ah, it was more of a reference to the fact that recent gun incidents has seen innocent people shot dead for going to the wrong house, it seems in most of these cases purely unintentionally.

However if the majority of these people are white, it may be that they are a little safer.
