how does anyone manage to survive in America? food prices here are exactly the same as food prices in Canada but one cad is only 0.75 usd
to top it all off, minimum wage in the US is way behind the curve, and they don't even have basic Healthcare to fall back on
how are they not rioting on the streets right now?

I am not sure how many of these 100 million people who signed up to Threads are Americans, but given how much data it will collect on them, it could explain lots of things. If people don't get that these big tech platform justr want them for their data / money and nothing else, then there is little hope people will rise up and demand better treatment elsewhere.
