So, supposing that the rumours are true and Google eventually manages to lock down the web and ban adblockers ad infinitum, y'all know that #gemini is a thing, right? 🤔

Adblockers exist for a reason and people clearly don't 'just' use them, if people are fed up with Advertisng taking over web pages then there will be a point where websites are unusable, for many that will mean people find alternatives to that website.
Do we raise awareness, do we push sites such as duckduckgo more, ? I have some business cards coming today, to help promote the fediverse, so it is time to get the word out a lot more.
Lets keep people updated on what google et al are doing there are pockets of resistance out there, we just need to reach people.
