I would really hope the online safety bill will address this, however I fear that it won't even scratch the surface, what it will do is impact on internet users who use e2ee for privacy, activits etc who will end up being an easier target for the authorties.
It won't improve safety and could infact make the internet more dangerous for certain groups.
