A lot of the #ClimateCrisis news I see is quite depressing, but this seems like some good news worth sharing:

agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.co

"Enhanced rock weathering (ERW) on croplands is a promising negative emissions concept that accelerates natural weathering by amending soils with crushed rock. Our simulations of ERW with a fixed rate of 10 tons of basalt dust per hectare on all global croplands suggest ERW can sequester >200 gigatons of CO2 over a 75-year period. "

+1 however lets not spread this around too much, we still need to end CO_2 and other emissions if people such as Big Oil think that Mother nature will just mitigate the effect they will carry on doing what they are doing and we will never actually solve the problem.
