Yeah, I think Lennons comment was taken differently in the US hence the backlash against the group. What Lennon apparently meantg was he wanted people to go to church rather than listen to the group.
My comment was thinking of the backlash and hatred toward the band, would be replicated if Trump made a similar comment.
Yeah, I think Paul is really nice, never met him of course, but he seems really nice and still has affection for the band, which is great, while still working on his solo career, as well as helping / collaborating with other artists.

I was watching the CBS morning shows and there he was, Paul McCartney.
He has a photo exhibit of their first US tour the images he took on their travels across America.
Of course it was Lennon who made the comment, just saying..., it was nice seeing him, and his photos.
